The minute we saw this cowboy themed birthday party we knew we had to share it with you. I’m sure you’ll agree it looks so much fun, especially if you are a six year old boy, like Oli. Oli’s parents have been planning and putting together this inspiring cowboy themed party for months and it shows in the attention to detail.
Emma (who blogs at lulu loves) made bunting, felt mustaches and crocheted star patches for the party bags. Since Oli loves chocolate, Emma baked chocolate brownies instead of a cake. She decorated them with mini bunting and edible gold glitter. For the party bags she baked mustache biscuits and wrapped them in gingham fabric and added a candy cane and a harmonica. The food was kept simple, hot dogs and corn on the cobs.
The party took place in their studio at the end of the garden. They decorated with bales of hay, hessian and gingham fabric and Emma’s husband Rob made saloon doors, a wooden horse for lassoing, a skittles alley and a bar. Emma, we think you have missed your calling – this party looks like it has been put together by a professional!
